Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Strategic Advisor to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our centres, ensuring they operate effectively and efficiently.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with experience in leadership and management. They will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic advice and guidance to centre leaders and staff
  • Liaising with regional offices and employees to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Managing day-to-day operations, including compliance with statutory requirements
  • Leading preparation for Ministry of Education Review Office visits

What We Offer

This is a fixed-term position ending 31 August 2025, with flexible working hours (mostly term time only). The salary for this role is $76,000 per annum, plus benefits such as regular free professional development opportunities, work laptop and phone, and a comprehensive training package.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Intelligence, an inquisitive mind, a can-do attitude, and a good sense of humour
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
