We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a SENCO and DSL to join our close-knit team at Bricklehurst Manor School in East Sussex.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and therapy team to develop and lead the strategic direction of our SEND policy and provision. This includes providing professional guidance to colleagues, liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure pupils with SEN receive high-quality support and teaching.

The role also involves advising on differentiated teaching methods, ensuring statutory compliance for working with Looked After Children, and leading staff in the Safeguarding team. Additionally, you will have day-to-day responsibility for the operation of the SEND policy and coordination of specific provision for pupils with EHC plans.

With a strong focus on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils, we require someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people. If you are an experienced SENCO looking for a new challenge, please consider joining our dynamic team.
