About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Nurse to join our Eating Disorders team in Kent and Medway. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with eating disorders, working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other healthcare services, including acute wards, community mental health teams, and specialist eating disorder units.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing opportunities for professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration status.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, such as eating disorders or mental health.
  • Experience working with patients with eating disorders, including assessment, treatment, and management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
