We're looking for a Retail Team Member to join our team in Hove. As a key member of our Cook family, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a remarkable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer feels valued and supported.
  • Offer product recommendations and provide expert information about our food, as appropriate.
  • Share information with customers on new products, serving suggestions, and garnishes.
  • Be thoughtful and help customers with their shopping, whether it's carrying bags to their car or entertaining children.
  • Use your knowledge to help customers plan menus or advise on catering for occasions.

Remarkable Business

As a Retail Team Member, you'll also be responsible for:

  • Knowing your shop targets and aiming to meet them.
  • Maintaining a clean and spotless shop, including replenishing stock and rotating inventory.
  • Operating the till efficiently and accurately, using in-store computer systems to record data.
  • Understanding shop paperwork, including necessary legal checks and their purpose.
  • Opening and closing the shop, as well as cashing up at the end of the day.
  • Checking in deliveries and placing orders.
  • Ensuring paperwork is complete and accurate.
  • Assisting with stock taking as required.
  • Looking smart with an apron and name badge at all times.
  • Supporting your Shop Manager and Team members by being an active part of the team.
