About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring ESOL teacher to join our Lifeskills faculty on a casual basis. The Lifeskills team supports learners with barriers to education, including those with special needs, asylum seekers, and refugees.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with passion and drive to enable students to unlock their potential and switch on to the power of learning. The post holder should be able to deliver from pre-entry to Entry level 3 to adults.

This is a casual contract for 4 hours or more per week, with some evening teaching required.

What You Need to Succeed:

Successful candidates will have an ESOL teaching qualification (CertTESOL/DipTESOL/CELTA/DELTA). We prefer experienced teachers with a PGCE or degree, but will consider applications from those without a PGCE who have substantial ESOL teaching experience.

You will need a flexible approach, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and an open mindset towards technology and virtual learning tools. You should also demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes we develop within our learners.
