About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring ESOL teacher to join our Lifeskills faculty based at our Banbury and Bicester College campus on a casual basis.

The Lifeskills team supports learners who face barriers to education, including learners with special educational needs, asylum seekers, and refugees.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with passion and drive who is committed to enabling our students to unlock their potential and switch on to the power of learning.

The post holder will be responsible for delivering ESOL lessons from pre-entry to Entry level 3 to adults.

This is a casual contract for 4 hours or more per week, with some evening teaching required.

Requirements:

We are looking for an ESOL teaching qualification (CertTESOL/DipTESOL/CELTA/DELTA) and a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

You will need to have an open mindset and attitude towards technology and virtual learning tools, as well as current Maths and English skills.

As an ESOL teacher at Activate Learning, you will have the opportunity to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
