Store Operations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations
- Provide exceptional customer service, listening to customers and helping to resolve any issues
- Take ownership of running duty shifts, ensuring the store is well-stocked and customer-facing areas are maintained
- Lead by example, setting a high standard for customer service and store operations
- Support and develop colleagues, providing coaching and feedback to help them grow and succeed
- Maintain a great understanding of store performance, identifying areas for improvement and working with managers to implement changes
What We Offer
As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you will enjoy a competitive rate of pay, starting from £14.28 an hour, with opportunities for increases based on location and skills. You will also benefit from a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities to work fewer hours if desired. We offer a supportive and flexible work environment, with 3 weeks' notice of scheduled shifts and opportunities for career development and growth.
