Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide Level 1-2 support to clients on all matters relating to IT provision, using remote access software to resolve issues and fulfil service requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support internal and external stakeholders with Service Desk functions, maintaining a high level of customer service and adhering to Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain a secure computer network, providing minimum access required for clients to perform duties.
  • Log and prioritise IT-related incidents and service requests, ascertaining fault or request nature, and recording Minimum Data Set (MDS) in the IT Service Management system.
  • Provide First Line IT technical support, including print queue administration and service information.
  • Support and administer user accounts for centrally-managed IT applications, following Trust policies and procedures.
  • Forward calls to Second Line support teams for further triage and resolution, monitoring progress against SLA time scales and implementing escalation processes.
  • Update the Trust's electronic directories of IT users, recording starters, leavers, and changes accurately and in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with an estimated salary of £15.05 per hour via umbrella, and based in Exeter.
