Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Staff Nurse to join our Dermatology team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Ambulatory Dermatology services and be able to provide visible leadership and management of patients attending for specialized treatment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care and treatment to patients with diverse dermatological skin conditions using a wide range of therapies, including narrow band UVA/UVB/PUVA/IONTOPHERESIS.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and students, providing education and support as needed.
  • Contribute to the smooth running and provision of holistic care to patients on the Day centre and Dowling Day Unit.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical governance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with post-registration experience in Dermatology.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent knowledge of topical treatments and biologic/systemic treatment pathways.
  • Ability to take part in structured teaching for patients, colleagues, and students.
  • Commitment to maintaining and updating own clinical practice and knowledge, including professional portfolio.
