We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Operations Manager to join Meatex Trading Ltd. in the UK.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our agriculture strategy and supporting key customer accounts.

This is a hands-on role that requires building positive relationships within the team, managing key customer agriculture accounts, and working with research partners to enhance farming productivity and sustainability.

Responsibilities
  • Team Collaboration: Building strong relationships with colleagues and other departments to drive efficient supply chains.
  • Customer Management: Managing key customer agriculture accounts to meet their needs and requirements.
  • Innovation and Data-Driven Insights: Developing and managing innovative project ideas to support sustainable supply chains and driving the role of data across the supply chain.
  • Communication and Events: Supporting communications plans and attending events across all Agri shows, conferences, and related events.
  • Business Conduct: Following our Business Code of Conduct and acting with integrity and due diligence.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Agriculture Experience: In-depth knowledge gained from working within the agriculture industry.
  • Farming Community: Experience of working within the farming community would be desirable.
  • Degree in Agriculture Science: Degree in Agriculture Science (or related subject, such as animal science, farm business management).
  • Agricultural Policies: In-depth knowledge and understanding of agricultural policies.
  • Leadership and Change Management: Ability to deliver change and manage a team through a change process.
  • Sustainability and Animal Welfare: Keen interest in animal welfare, animal feed, environmental policy, and issues related to sustainable farming.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good level of understanding on technical and agricultural matters within the UK industry.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to deliver multiple projects autonomously.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including [insert benefits here].
