Technician Department Lead

Octane Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specialising in the automotive industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join our team as a Workshop Controller in Norwich.
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the supervision of technicians and administration staff in a busy workshop environment, ensuring that vehicles are processed efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for liaising with service advisors to keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicles.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician who is looking to take on a leadership role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be driven and focused, with a proven track record of managing teams to achieve high standards.
We offer a competitive salary of £34,000 - £37,000 basic, with an OTE of £42,000. Additionally, you will receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 28 days after three years' continuous service. Other benefits include accredited training, onsite parking, and employee discounts across all Group companies.
Requirements for the role include previous experience in a senior role, although this is not essential. The ideal candidate will have at least six years of full-time experience as a Vehicle Technician and hold a Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification. A full UK driving licence is also required.
