Mechanic Technician Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanic Technician Lead to join our team at RAF Lakenheath. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, installing, repairing, replacing, and modifying liquid fuel storage and distribution systems and their electrical components.

The salary for this position is £29,507 per year. In this role, you will perform routine inspections, tests, and maintenance tasks on fuel systems and components, identifying potential issues and taking corrective action to ensure safe operation. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including electric motors, disconnect switches, and other equipment. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical systems, and safety procedures. An NVQ/City and Guilds Level 2 in Welding, Mechanical Engineering certification with experience in fuels, or HND/HNC/BTEC , is desirable. A valid UK driver's Category B driving license is required. All successful applicants will require a security clearance and a right to work in the UK.
