About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our partner primary schools across East London.

Responsibilities:
  • Support class teachers throughout the day, ensuring a smooth learning environment for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement lesson plans, promoting inclusive education.
  • Assist with lunchtime cover, school trips, and classroom preparation, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Work closely with colleagues to manage challenging behavior, maintaining a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Hold a valid DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated at £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. Smart Teachers offers:
