Mental Health Therapies Clinical Lead

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join NELFT NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Lead for our Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs). As a senior leader, you will work in partnership with schools and the wider community to support children and young people experiencing emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description:
- To take the lead in complex relationships or system issues with education and the wider mental health sector.
- Support clinical supervisors in overseeing assessment, formulation, and treatment plans for schools, parents, children, and young people.
- Work in partnership with children, young people, families, and schools to develop goals, plans, and outcomes.
- Provide information and support to schools on evidence-based psychological treatments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Postgraduate training in psychological practice (e.g., psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist).
- Extensive experience working with children and young people in mental health settings at an 8a level or above.
