About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our team at Imerys. As an IES Category Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the purchasing process, working closely with project managers and stream leaders to ensure the successful execution of purchasing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the Sourcing Request tool and develop routines with the project team to anticipate future actions.
- Coordinate with other purchasing categories as necessary and manage sourcing in collaboration with technical teams and relevant categories.
- Participate in the qualification of suppliers and launch tenders under your responsibility.
- Support the Sustainability program of Imerys, including Ecovadis registration and CO2 impact.
- Negotiate contracts and attend project meetings.
- Collaborate with the legal department for contract preparation and claims.
- Support technical teams in case of claims and deploy Group IT solutions such as SAP and IVALUA.

About You:
We are looking for a skilled Category Manager with experience in purchasing industrial equipment, engineering contracts, and indirect services. You will have a Master's degree in Business or a related field and strong experience in procurement and interfaces between procurement and purchasing.
