About the Role

Voyage Care is seeking a skilled and empathetic Personal Support Specialist to join our team at Ancaster Mews. As a Personal Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

You will work closely with the individuals we support, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with the individuals we support and their families
  • Provide person-centered support and guidance, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., social work, nursing, psychology)
  • At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with complex needs
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (£12.50 - £15.00 per hour), depending on experience.
