Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our EMEA team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced research environment, with excellent qualitative analytical skills and a strong knowledge of the region's business and political environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex open source and human intelligence-led investigative assignments, including pre-transactional integrity due diligence checks and other bespoke investigations.
  • Write concise and cogent reports that weave in research findings with an in-depth contextualized analysis of key issues and other pertinent findings.
  • Deliver written and verbal briefings to senior management and clients on research findings.
  • Prepare proposals for new business.
  • Support the development of Anthesis Group's human source network in EMEA.
  • Assist in training new team members and proofreading reports.
Requirements
  • Fluency in reading and writing English in a commercial context and at least one key regional language.
  • 1-6 years' full-time post-graduate work experience in the corporate intelligence industry and/or another relevant investigative background.
  • Experience using open source research tools such as LexisNexis and Factiva, as well as regional and language-specific databases and media sources.
  • Ability to plan and manage multifaceted research projects from the proposal stage to delivering our work to the client.
  • A working knowledge of financial, commercial, and legal concepts.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
  • Professional proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
