Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our EMEA team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced research environment, with excellent qualitative analytical skills and a strong knowledge of the region's business and political environments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex open source and human intelligence-led investigative assignments, including pre-transactional integrity due diligence checks and other bespoke investigations.
- Write concise and cogent reports that weave in research findings with an in-depth contextualized analysis of key issues and other pertinent findings.
- Deliver written and verbal briefings to senior management and clients on research findings.
- Prepare proposals for new business.
- Support the development of Anthesis Group's human source network in EMEA.
- Assist in training new team members and proofreading reports.
- Fluency in reading and writing English in a commercial context and at least one key regional language.
- 1-6 years' full-time post-graduate work experience in the corporate intelligence industry and/or another relevant investigative background.
- Experience using open source research tools such as LexisNexis and Factiva, as well as regional and language-specific databases and media sources.
- Ability to plan and manage multifaceted research projects from the proposal stage to delivering our work to the client.
- A working knowledge of financial, commercial, and legal concepts.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
- Professional proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
- A keen interest in international affairs and business.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive, can-do mindset and willingness to work outside job specifications when required.
- An ability to thrive under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
- Maintains a high level of professionalism in all areas of work.
