About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced individual to take on a key role in supporting the Head of Business Development and Marketing. As a Commercial Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, procurement teams, and prospects to identify new business opportunities and help drive growth.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be confident in their ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong understanding of CRM systems and be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
A competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, is available for this position.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, procurement teams, and prospects to stay up-to-date on pitch progress.
- Identify and share further business opportunities with the Head of Business Development and Marketing.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities in our CRM system (Monday.com).
- Conduct background research to stay informed about target pipeline companies and spot information that can aid business growth.
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support, including key account management, bid support, and updating website content.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Energetic and positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication and a confident telephone manner.
- Initiative and productivity with the ability to take initiative and make things happen efficiently.
- Exceptional organisational skills, especially in prioritising tasks and managing various workloads.
- Technical proficiency, including high computer literacy and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Resilience with determination and persistence in overcoming challenges.
