An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated imaging specialist to join our team of experienced professionals at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. Your key focus will entail delivering high-quality clinical reports for inpatient, outpatient, and GP services.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical reports for plain film services, ensuring compliance with imaging protocols.
- Perform examinations and imaging, in line with governmental and departmental protocols, working both alone and within radiology and multidisciplinary teams.
- Be responsible for the operational supervision and management of allocated areas, assessing and managing workflow to utilize available resources to deliver prompt, efficient, and effective services.
- Participate in request validation, vetting, and justification in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Check patient identification and documentation, ensuring the appropriate radiographic/imaging examinations are carried out in accordance with departmental protocols and clinical requests.
