About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Associate to join our dynamic M&E team in Leeds. As a key member of our building services team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering design solutions, managing projects, and leading a team of engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical and commercial management of projects with a proven track record in delivery
  • Management and development of other engineers, including calculations, verification, and cost estimation
  • Project winning, bids, and interviews, contributing to and leading project bids and tender submissions
  • Assisting and leading in project winning, bids, and interviews
  • Developing and driving the sustainability agenda and low carbon design
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer and member of a relevant body
  • Strong project management skills in delivering building services projects from concept to handover
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the confidence to manage varying client situations
  • Ambition and drive to lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians
  • High level of knowledge and experience of mechanical engineering and low carbon design with a key understanding of other disciplines
  • Knowledge and experience of using IES software, Revit, Navisworks, and MagiCAD software
