Job Description

Associate Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our building services team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering design solutions, managing projects, and leading a team of engineers and technicians.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a high level of knowledge in electrical engineering, public health, and sustainability. You will be required to work on a wide range of projects across various sectors, including defence, commercial, industrial, retail, healthcare, education, and leisure.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Technical and commercial management of projects
  • Project winning, bids, and interviews
  • Contributing to and leading project bids and tender submissions
  • Developing and driving the sustainability agenda and low carbon design

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual with excellent communication and client-facing skills. You will have a proven track record in delivery and be able to manage varying client situations. Experience with IES software, Revit, and Navisworks is essential, with MagiCAD software being a plus.
