Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our CAMHS team. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to children and young people with complex mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work with children, young people, and their families to coordinate assessment and treatment options
  • Assess, formulate, and care plan for children and young people with mental health needs
  • Hold clinics and exercise roles as an Independent/Supplementary Prescriber
  • Provide input to the CAMHS Prescriber Rota and issue repeat prescriptions to young people
  • Attend meetings to discuss complex cases and liaise with other teams and services

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Mental Health or Registered Nurse Learning Disability
  • Recognised qualification in non-medical prescribing
  • Experience of working as a non-medical prescriber and in a senior role in care of children and young people with mental health needs
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team
