Head of Compliance - Business Partner

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Compliance team and provide strategic guidance on regulatory matters. This role is critical in ensuring our organization maintains compliance with industry and government regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance and risk management, with experience in developing and implementing compliance programs. They will be responsible for providing oversight and guidance to operational management, ensuring that compliance systems and controls remain effective.

The Compliance team is based throughout the UK, and the successful candidate will be required to travel to attend offices. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement compliance programs and policies

• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory matters

• Ensure operational management are briefed in good time to ensure compliance with regulatory change

• Manage assigned projects and contribute to projects as required

• Provide management information to the Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Management of the assigned business area

• Ensure the Compliance team makes use of timely and insightful data to inform their understanding of regulatory risks and customer outcomes

• Lead a compliance team

• Strong regulatory focus

Requirements:

• 5 years' experience at senior compliance management level or above

• Industry-recognized qualifications desirable but not essential depending on relevant experience

• Demonstrable experience of setting compliance policies and standards

• Demonstrable experience of setting compliance programs and oversight planning
