About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Retail Merchandising Specialist, working primarily within The Entertainer concession within Tesco. As a key member of our field-based retail merchandising team, you will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert knowledge of The Entertainer brand and products, with the ability to share this knowledge with your team.
  • Compliance and Standards: Adhere to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Building: Build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.

Requirements:

  • Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, using your own initiative to find solutions.
  • Pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients.
  • Comfortable with manual handling, moving and arranging products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
  • Will to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
  • Confidence using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about your tasks.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car is a bonus.
