Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager to join our client, a leading Transport Fuel Supplier, in a key role that will drive major projects for the upcoming years.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage complex engineering projects within the Oil & Gas Sector, ensuring on-time delivery and within allocated resources.
- Develop project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee and manage the execution of projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, requirements, and standards.
- Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and third-party entities, fostering effective collaboration to achieve project objectives.
- Manage and control project costs, continuously monitoring budgets, and implementing corrective measures as required.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilise effective communication and leadership skills to manage project teams, motivating team members to achieve project milestones.
- Adhere to the principles of Construction Design and Management (CDM) to ensure the safe execution of construction projects.
- Hold a relevant engineering qualification and project management expertise.
- Experience of using project management models such as Prince2 and software such as Microsoft Project required.
- Significant project management experience with the ability to manage numerous projects involving stakeholder engagement, budget control, customer outcomes, and specified deliverables.
- Experience of managing engineering projects within the transport fuel / Oil distribution/ EV or other high hazard sector.
- Experience of multi-project delivery within a high-risk profile organisation would be beneficial.
- Experience of HSE management systems and permit to work processes and contractor management.
