Key Responsibilities- Oversee the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of tasks and projects.
- Work closely with other department managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.
- Manage and develop the existing accounts receivable team, providing training and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Build and maintain relationships with major stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the provision of accurate and timely financial data to support business operations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, driving best practices within the systems environment.
- Provide training and support to staff across the organization to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Produce valuable management information to inform strategic decision-making.
- Experience managing an accounts receivable function, with a proven track record of success.
- Strategic skills and ability to drive continual improvement across the function.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining internal control frameworks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of Microsoft Excel competency.
