Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of tasks and projects.
  • Work closely with other department managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.
  • Manage and develop the existing accounts receivable team, providing training and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the provision of accurate and timely financial data to support business operations.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, driving best practices within the systems environment.
  • Provide training and support to staff across the organization to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Produce valuable management information to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • Experience managing an accounts receivable function, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strategic skills and ability to drive continual improvement across the function.
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining internal control frameworks.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of Microsoft Excel competency.
