About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at VINCI Energies in France. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading control systems projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development, sales, and project management of control systems projects in accordance with company, customer, and legislative requirements.
  • Prepare detailed technical customer quotations for bespoke control systems.
  • Negotiate prices, rework, and variations with customers.
  • Liaise directly with customers throughout all stages of a project or program.
  • Develop strong technical solution sales approaches.
  • Work alongside other program managers to develop existing client relationships and identify future requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with different audiences, both verbally and in writing, and possess strong presentation skills with technical and commercial content.
  • Provide technical supervision of system design, build, and installation personnel.
  • Carry out tendering activity with cost estimation, technical proposals, and presentation.
  • Ensure all relevant health and safety procedures are adhered to.
  • Lead and manage a team, developing their skills and knowledge in line with business goals.
  • Evaluate projects at every stage, ready to present to management.
  • Manage contracts and negotiate with customers.
  • Perform earned value analysis and possess commercial acumen.
  • Visit customer sites as required.

About You

We are looking for a qualified individual with a HNC/HND/degree in a relevant discipline and in-depth experience in system integration, or substantial experience in systems integration. You should have a high level of ability to understand and produce control system design documents, a strong understanding of technical project life cycles, and good to high knowledge of software experience.
