We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our well-established and supportive Upper GI CNS team as a Band 7 Upper Gastrointestinal Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To provide high-quality patient care and support to patients with upper GI cancer diagnoses.
  • To work autonomously as part of the multidisciplinary team and develop positive and collaborative relationships.
  • To demonstrate clinical decision-making skills and an ability to monitor and improve standards of care within the Upper GI service.
  • To influence patient care with a multi-faceted approach that includes clinical knowledge, teaching, and audit.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in Oncology and minimum five years post-registration experience.
  • Completion of Advanced Communication course.
  • Degree in nursing/related healthcare or willingness to undertake.
  • Relevant oncology course at level three.
Salary:

£51,883 to £58,544 per annum inclusive.
