Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at GSL Education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting teachers in a Catholic school in Rochdale, OL12. The school is graded Outstanding by Ofsted and is looking for a Cover Supervisor to start ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

* Teach Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 pupils
* Help pupils with a wide range of needs in the classroom
* Keep pupils motivated to stay on task with any preset exercises that the teacher has set
* Provide any material or tools students need
* Show pupils the right steps to complete a task
* Work across different curriculum areas including different subject areas
* Report back to the teacher for the work they are covering for

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a teaching assistant in a secondary school
* Previous experience working with pupils with similar ages
* Any relevant qualifications – Level 2/3 in education or support in schools, Degree, Masters etc.
