Job Description

As a Child Protection Specialist, you will be part of our redesigned Child Protection Team, working collaboratively with families and their networks to ensure the best outcomes for the whole family.

You will have experience in children and families fieldwork and completed the five-day child protection training.

A sound knowledge and skill base in understanding complex issues surrounding child protection work is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with families and their networks to identify and address child welfare/child protection concerns

• Implement Signs of Safety and Safe and Together models to inform practice

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 per annum, plus a 6% Saturday working enhancement.
