Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Forensic Psychologist to join our clinical team at our specialist service in Croydon. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents.

In this creative and evolving role, you will work closely with our Group Psychological Lead and report into the Head of Service. Your expertise will drive the delivery of high-quality care, focusing on the complex needs of individuals with forensic mental health requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in forensic and clinical psychology, with experience working with individuals with complex backgrounds and needs. You will be responsible for assessing and managing risk, providing clinical supervision, and offering guidance and expertise to foster a psychologically informed and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Referral, assessment, and care planning within the multidisciplinary team
  • Risk assessment, formulation, and management responsibilities
  • Clinical caseload, including 1:1 and group work
  • Reflective practice lead for staff on-site
  • Cross-working across multiple sites in the South London area
