IT Support Engineer Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level support for desktop applications and IT systems.
  • Handle a wide range of tasks, from deskside support to advanced 3rd Line Support.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of various technologies and systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to resolve helpdesk requests and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily backup processes and support Microsoft Desktop & Server Operating Systems.
  • Monitor and support our Windows Hyper-V environment and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Provide hardware support for desktops, laptops, and various printers.
  • Assist in planning and relocating IT equipment during different trading periods.
Requirements:
  • Troubleshooting Microsoft desktop operating systems and Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Office365 administration and management.
  • Basic understanding of networking infrastructure.
  • Ability to troubleshoot networked devices, such as PCs, laptops, and printers.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Understanding of a Windows Server environment.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL administration and backup processes.
Working Conditions:
  • Standard 40-hour week with potential for additional hours during peak periods.
  • Out-of-hours support will be required on a rota basis, with an allowance paid for this coverage.
