Financial Reporting Specialist

Isaac James Associates is partnering with a leading European FMCG business to appoint a Financial Reporting Specialist to join their team in Lincolnshire.

This business manufactures and supplies a wide range of consumer goods, and prides itself on its welcoming and supportive culture.

The Role

  • As a Financial Reporting Specialist, your duties will include:
  • Preparing and posting journals for allocated cost centres/cost types.
  • Preparing assigned balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Working as a business partner with cost centre/budget holders to build awareness of cost drivers and opportunities to reduce cost.
  • Supporting the budget and forecast cycles for central cost areas.
  • Providing input to statutory accounts process.
  • Ensuring compliance with SOX and internal Audit Controls.
  • Other Ad-Hoc projects.

Please note that this is a site-based role, so the successful candidate will be on site 5 days a week.

Requirements

  • A qualified Accountant (Ideally CIMA) with experience in a fast-moving FMCG environment.
  • A strong communicator, able to influence stakeholders and effectively deliver business critical information and analysis.
  • Excellent Excel modelling skills.
