About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Ritz Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our client's compliance with all statutory and non-statutory safety responsibilities in relation to legislation and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure a high level of building safety across all developments, prioritizing the welfare and safety of staff, residents, and other building users.
  2. Deliver HRBs within the UK Construction Industry, leveraging your comprehensive knowledge and experience.
  3. Conduct compliance inspections and audits, utilizing your excellent data logging and numerical skills.
  4. Establish positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.
  5. Travel to all offices and buildings within the portfolio, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  1. NEBOSH Health and Safety Qualified.
  2. A relevant Fire Safety qualification accredited by the IFE or IFSM or equivalent.
  3. Minimum of 5 years' experience working within the UK Construction and Property Sector(s).
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022.
  5. Motivated, driven, and passionate about improvement of H&S.
  6. Good communicator, with a positive, pragmatic mindset and a can-do attitude.
  7. Accountable, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  8. Excellent data logging, numerical, and IT skills.
  9. Able to establish positive relationships with colleagues.
  10. Experience in carrying out compliance inspections and audits.
  11. A full clean UK driving licence.
  12. Ability to travel to Newcastle as required.
