IT Service Desk Manager

Take on a challenging role as an IT Service Desk Manager with a leading global insurance company based in the City of London office.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of £63,000 - £68,000 + bonus + benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the IT Service Desk team and oversee the continuous development and improvement of IT Service Desk operations.
  • Manage and automate processes for Service Desk Performance, MI reporting, Identify and Access Management, Software Installs, Asset tracking, Licence management, and Documentation management.
  • Develop and maintain policies, processes, and user training documentation.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure effective incident, request, and problem resolution.
  • Oversee and manage projects, such as PC updates, rollouts, hardware refreshes, and other ad hoc tasks or projects.
Requirements
  • Proven management experience in an IT Service Desk environment.
  • Technical competence with good all-round knowledge of Windows 11, Office, Azure Entra, Azure Admin, Teams Admin, Exchange, SharePoint, Citrix, and printing technology.
  • Experience supporting AV/Media support, Crestron technology, Signage Live.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
