Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the billing process for legal aid cases, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Prepare and finalize legal aid bills, applying for payments on accounts and liaising with relevant bodies.
  • Maintain knowledge of VHCC submissions, CCMS system, and other relevant regulations.
  • Chase final orders from the court and legal aid certificates, ensuring seamless case progression.
  • Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, prioritizing workloads to coincide with billing requirements.
  • Utilize excellent IT skills, with a proven knowledge of working with Excel, to manage and analyze data.
Requirements
  • Legal aid billing experience, with a strong understanding of family law and related regulations.
  • Excellent communication and administration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workloads, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience working with Excel and other relevant software.
