Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and process legal aid bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to prepare and finalize legal aid bills, ensuring timely submission.
  • Apply for payments on accounts (POA) and manage disbursements, court fees, and counsel fees.
  • Liaise with relevant bodies to resolve any issues related to legal aid certificates and final orders.
  • Utilize the CCMS system to manage and track legal aid cases.
  • Work closely with the team to prioritize workload and meet billing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain excellent IT skills, with a strong focus on Excel.

  • A competitive salary of up to £35,000, depending on experience.
