About the Role

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Community Wellbeing Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team to support the wellbeing of citizens in the community, particularly those who may feel isolated and are open to those who use, or have used, mental health services.

Main Responsibilities

  • To build a good working knowledge with a broad range of teams and organisations across Berkshire, with a focus on community engagement and partnership working.
  • To work out in the community, meeting and communicating with team members and managers, and to embed a positive approach to mental health and wellbeing.
  • To discuss the Let's Connect Wellbeing Network with confidence and knowledge to relevant people and audiences.
  • To coproduce with the local community to play an important part of the development of a Let's Connect Wellbeing Network that is proactive and empowering for the person and influences all stakeholders.
  • To promote an integrated model of working within the community with Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Voluntary and Community Sector (VCSE) and community organisations.
  • To work within a strong team-based approach with a clear vision and supportive ethos.
