About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Psychology Service in Harrogate Hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist clinical psychology services to children and young people with diabetes and epilepsy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality specialist clinical psychology assessments and interventions for children and young people with diabetes and epilepsy.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in research and service evaluation activities to improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide supervision and training to junior staff members.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
  • Current registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with diabetes and epilepsy.
  • Knowledge of current psychological theory and practice as applied to paediatric physical health.
