Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Diabetes and Epilepsy Team at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide a specialist clinical psychology service to children, young people, and their families and carers with a diagnosis of epilepsy or diabetes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialist psychological assessment, intervention, advice, and consultation on patients' psychological functioning to other health professionals and carers.
- Support psychological practice within the teams through integration and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinics, supervision, formulation, and training.
- Participate in regular supervision and activities with the clinical psychology staff in the Harrogate clinical psychology service.
- Contribute to the monitoring, audit, evaluation, and development of the clinical specialties, as identified and agreed with the Lead Clinical Psychologist in the service area.
- Hold a professional qualification in Clinical Psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Have experience of working with children, young people, and their families and carers with a diagnosis of epilepsy or diabetes.
- Be able to work autonomously within professional guidelines and frameworks governing each clinical area.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
