About this Exciting Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client, a leading Manufacturer based in Wakefield. As part of their team, you will be responsible for ensuring asset availability and production output success.

This role requires the installation and maintenance of assets across site(s), which consist of fast-moving manufacturing machinery. You will need to work with PLCs (Allen Bradley, amongst others) and other electrical equipment and components.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Fundamental troubleshooting and maintenance of PPMs
  2. Swift reactive maintenance response to breakdowns
  3. Anticipatory identification and resolution of electrical issues
  4. Root Cause analysis and effective problem-solving via programmable logic controls
  5. Oversight of facility power distribution and lighting services
  6. Systematic wiring, assembly, and design of electrical/electronic systems, including updated wiring schematics and computer documentation
  7. Adherence to and suggestion of improvements to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Your Requirements and Perks:
  • Considerable experience in delivering electrical maintenance to assets and machines, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Relevant formal education in electrical engineering, e.g., apprenticeship, HNC/HND, degree, etc.
