Agrace is a nonprofit, community healthcare organization recognized as a leader in the hospice industry. We provide end-of-life care and serve people across southern Wisconsin who are aging, seriously ill, or grieving.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, processes, and systems in support of Agrace's organization. The successful candidate will drive initiatives by coordinating resources and ensuring projects are continuously moving forward.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Provide leadership for assigned projects to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and with quality. Utilize project management tools and principles to define and manage project scope, document and monitor timeliness and deliverables, and identify and develop contingency plans to resolve risks and barriers.
- Project Resource: Provide education on process improvement, project management, and change management techniques to Agrace's Management Team. Serve as a resource to project teams not assigned to the Project Manager through coaching and education and review of project documents.
- Project Governance: Develop standardized project management tools to be used by all projects across the organization. Maintain current knowledge of trends in project management processes, tools, and result tracking.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Business Administration, or a similar area.
- Experience: 3+ years of project management experience managing concurrent large-scale cross-departmental projects.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent, or the ability to complete within six months of employment.
- Skills: Extensive knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management techniques and tools. Ability to quickly assimilate, assess, and act upon project status changes.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrated experience simultaneously managing multiple complex initiatives crossing organizational boundaries. Ability to think systemically and understand the implications of policies and practices. Effectively use analytical skills to develop and analyze options, recommend solutions to, and solve complex problems and issues.
