Operations Manager

As an Area Manager at Amazon UK Services Ltd., you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain management. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a Team of Operations Professionals: You will be responsible for leading a team of operations professionals who are responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our logistics and supply chain management.
- Drive Process Improvements: You will be responsible for identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Manage Projects: You will be responsible for managing projects that are designed to improve the efficiency and productivity of our logistics and supply chain management.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our logistics and supply chain management are aligned with business objectives.
As an Area Manager, you will work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, ensuring that it is as productive as possible. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You will also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation.
Requirements- Education: A degree in a relevant field such as business, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Experience: Relevant experience in people management, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language.
