Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Independent Living Facilitator to join our team at Bedspace. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting vulnerable young adults in achieving independent living.

About the Role

This position involves working closely with our team to develop and deliver independent living skills to young people, enabling them to live independently at 18. As a Youth Independent Living Facilitator, you will travel to various locations within the Liverpool region, utilizing your vehicle and possessing a full driving license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on independent living skills to young people, empowering them to make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Travel regularly to designated areas within the Liverpool region, fostering strong relationships with local communities.
Benefits Package

Bedspace offers a competitive salary of £11.72 per hour, effective from January 1st, 2023. In addition, we provide mileage compensation, birthday leave, a casual dress code, and opportunities for annual leave purchasing and selling.

About You
  • Prior experience working with vulnerable young adults is essential, demonstrating your ability to connect with and support this demographic.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to build trust and rapport with our clients and colleagues alike.
  • A comprehensive understanding of multi-agency working and safeguarding protocols is necessary for this role.
  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or willingness to pursue it further is highly desirable.

  • An Enhanced DBS disclosure and satisfactory employment background check are mandatory.
  • Satisfactory references and verification of right to work in the UK are also required.
