Junior Video Editor

We are seeking a talented Junior Video Editor to join our dynamic Video Production team at Student Beans. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and editing engaging video content for our social media channels and YouTube platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and edit video content for social media and YouTube, including brainstorming ideas and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor social and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve and ensure our content is reactive and engaging.
  • Collaborate with our social media teams to create video content that aligns with our brand voice and tone.
  • Proactively seek ways to develop your knowledge of social media and video production, attending webinars and requesting learning resources.
  • Build an online community by interacting with users on our social media channels and YouTube platform.
  • Ad-hoc filming for our social video series, including vox pops and some travel may be required.
  • Edit short and long-form content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and our blog.
Requirements:
  • Experience editing video content for social media and YouTube.
  • Experience attending shoots and capturing content for YouTube.
  • Experience using a social calendar and forward planning/scheduling video content.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe After Effects.
  • Solid understanding of editing using the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro).
  • Solid understanding of the Google Suite.
  • Super organized editing processes.
  • Ability to create content that aligns with our brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Understanding of YouTube and video trends.
