We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cancer Care Specialist to join our team at Kings College Hospital. This role is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to develop their skills in cancer care and chemotherapy administration.

The successful candidate will have experience in haematology, oncology, or acute settings and be willing to work towards a recognised Systematic Anticancer Therapy (SACT) course. As a key member of the chemotherapy unit team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, managing caseloads, and ensuring safe chemotherapy delivery in accordance with national guidelines.

This role offers a great chance to gain expertise in SACT and contribute to improving patient outcomes. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and participate in ongoing clinical trials, developing your skills in haematological malignancy and liver centre care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
  • Manage caseloads and ensure safe chemotherapy administration in accordance with national guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing clinical trials and contribute to research initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN1) with active NMC registration.
  • Experience in cancer care, haematology, or oncology.
  • Willingness to work towards a recognised SACT course.
