Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Reed Engineering. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal working order of plant machinery and site facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance activities, including machinery maintenance to OEM specifications and recording work carried out.
- Breakdown Response: Respond to breakdowns with effective problem-solving techniques, prioritising issues and engineering solutions to recurring problems.
- Site Projects: Lead or participate in site projects aimed at improving operations, within budget constraints.
- Quality and Safety: Uphold Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) standards by actively participating in training and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
- Team Support: Support the training and development of apprentices and co-workers.
- Experience: Experience in a production environment.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of AC/DC motors, drives, PLCs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Skills: Computer literacy, including proficiency in Office tools.
- Holiday: 25 days holiday
- Profit Related Pay: Up to 5% of salary

Shift patterns are as follows: 5 hours per week
