Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Be Caring in Wythenshawe. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals
  • Provide personal care that protects clients' dignity
  • Promote independence using enabling approaches
  • Deliver personalised care through individual choice and control
  • Be a strong and effective communicator, documenting, reporting, and sharing information with the right people at the right time
  • Connect clients to their communities, accessing local support and services
Induction Training:

We will provide comprehensive induction training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to excel as a Care Assistant. Our training program covers:

  • Be Caring values, going Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes
  • Dignity and respect, safeguarding, and equality and diversity
  • Confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Fluids and nutrition and safe administration of medication
  • Moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sores (React to Red)
  • Infection prevention and control, health and safety
  • Learning Disabilities (Oliver McGowan Tier 1), mental health, and capacity
