Mental Health Nurse Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions at a prestigious private hospital in Wellingborough.
Key Responsibilities- Mental Health Assessments: Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations to identify patients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Care Planning: Develop, implement, and review care plans to ensure patients receive comprehensive and effective treatment.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and monitor their effects to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Patient Support: Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families to promote mental health awareness and advocacy.
- Emergency Response: Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed to ensure patient safety.
- Education: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
- Licensure: Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
- Experience: Previous experience in a mental health setting is essential.
- Skills: Strong clinical and assessment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to work effectively in a team, strong organizational and time management skills, and empathy and compassion.
- Hours: Flexible hours, may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Environment: Hospital setting with exposure to patients with various mental health conditions.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving patients, and standing for long periods.
