Job Title: Shift Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Engineer to join our team at Unilever. As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility, maintaining and repairing equipment, and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the production facility is operating at optimum speed and efficiency by maintaining, repairing, and improving plant and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and machinery.
  • Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, and to reduce downtime and costs.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including maintenance, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our equipment and processes, and provide technical expertise to support the team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, motors, and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
